Description

‘Phonophor’, Siemens & Halske A-G Berlin.  Earphone attached to black head-clip, batteries contained in black bakelite case, with button loop.  Electric, plug-in cord.  Purchased in October 1929 for Rev. J.A. Cairns, grandfather of Mrs. Amaret Reynolds.  Contained in black leatherette case similar to camera case.
